Luke Envoy's "Honour Kill"

This tune is wildly awesome.  I consider this one of my top 5 favorite Dubstep tracks (or any genre for that matter).  Have a listen, let me know what you think.

Joker's Ghetto Clang Mix

Here's another hot mix from none other than Joker.  This kid really is a prodigy, and has turned the dubstep and IDM worlds on their head since he hit the scene.  This is one of his newer mixes, from Mary Anne Hobbs radio show.  Have a listen, you won't be disappointed.

Keep an ear out for the Sonic The Hedgehog samples....  it took me a few listens to place them.

Guido Mix - 2009-07-08 MAH

Here's a super hot, albeit short, mix from Guido.  Guido- another purveyor of the aforementioned "Purple" style, has a sound similar to Joker's, yet completely unique in it's own regard.  You'll enjoy this one:

Joker's Purple Wow Sound mix

Joker was partially responsible for my obsession with Dubstep music.  Joker's style is very atypical of dubstep, so much so that he doesn't consider himself a dubstep producer, but rather a pioneer of his own genre- "Purple".  Have a listen to this mix, I think you'll hear the Purple coming right out of your subwoofer.

Welcome to Double Dub Dubstep, my blog about all things Dubstep.

For those of you new to Dubstep, you're about to enter a dark, grimey world of wobbling bass lines, syncopated rhythms, and screeching synths, rooted in both Reggae and Drum and Bass music.

From Wikipedia:

"Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music. Its overall sound has been described as "tightly coiled productions with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals""
